This is the most up to date list that I am currently running for Edric. The powerful aggro combined with the blue based permission makes for a fun deck to play and from what I hear from my play group, it is not too bad to play against.
I still need an Invisible Stalker… I still have not been able to secure one!
Cory's Random Card of the Day #1
There are several people who do a similar sort of post around the Magic community. I figured now that I am up and running on Tumblr, I would add my own interpretation of a random card as generated by Gatherer each day. Hopefully I can remember to keep up!
Random Card Day 1: Akroma’s Memorial
When I first seen this card I was really excited. How cool would it be to turn EVERY single creature you controlled into an Akroma, Angel or Wrath? The answer… SO COOL! For those of you who are not familiar with what Akroma, Angel of Wrath is, follow this link and you will see (http://gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=42049).
This card exceeds at pushing your creatures over the top and ensuring the victory. Like many other big, splashy, game winning cards, it has a weakness. This card’s weakness lies within the fact that;
- It will cost you seven mana to play
- Without an army of dudes and dudettes, it does nothing significant
- It doesn’t actually increase the attack power of your creatures
Even with these three “negative” points, Akroma’s Memorial is still an awesome tool that needs to be answered in some way or you will generally win the game.

My burnjund deck is finally completed!
At first I wanted to do some sort of burn deck with Bloodbraid elfs and Dark confidants, no Tarmos at all (due to financial shit : WOTC, reprint Tarmo NAO!) , but later I sold a lot of crap I had lying around and traded other shit and got my Tarmos ready (also some cool russian and spanish swords, but thats another story). After that, I thought it would be neat if I trade the whole deck to get only nonfoil french/spanish/russian versions.
And here we are now. Sweet.
What modern deck should I build now? No blue.
